President of the Union of Armenians of Russia has confirmed his intention to form a political party and participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia.
Speaking to reporters in Yerevan, Ara Abrahamyan said he really wants to form a party.
In reply to A1+’s question whether he took into consideration the incident with Gagik Tsarukyan, former leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Abrahamyan gave a positive reply and added that he had already discussed his plans [of forming a party] with Serzh Sargsyan.
“Why not? Set up your party if you are determined to be useful to Armenia,” Sargsyan told me,” Ara Abrahamyan added.
