Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic has disclaimed Azerbaijan's reports saying an Armenian firing point was allegedly destroyed and three Armenians soldiers were allegedly killed.
"The NKR Defense Army press-office did not comment on the misreports reflecting the seek imagination of Azerbaijani defense department and decided to present the comments of Azerbaijani users without any changes under the given report," the NKR DM says in a statement. Here is an excerpt from the comments:
"We are sick and tired of this lie. The video footage shows a blown up shelter. I have a question: where have they got the data on the death of three soldiers? Our Defense Ministry does not understand that such groundless statements undermine the public trust in it. Speak in facts, not suppositions," writes user Bozqurd Sonuna.
The NKR Defense Ministry brings real data on the situation on the Line of Contact. In particular, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire 150 times firing 1700 shells at the Armenian positions. The rival used 60mm mortars (130 shells), 82mm mortars (13 shells), RPG-17 grenade launchers (6 shells) and AGS-17 grenade machine gun (40 shells).
The Armenian side suffered no casualties. The NKR Defense Army has the situation under control.
